We Care Community Service Day

KCU-Kansas City kicks off each year by completing several community service projects in the area. Partnering with more than a dozen non-profit organizations, first-year COM students, COB students along with KCU faculty and staff, are matched to a community service project site in KC's urban core and spend the morning giving back.

Dress is casual (jeans, shorts and sneakers). We will provide you with We Care T-shirts.

KCU-Kansas City's White Coating Ceremony for KCU-COM New Students

KCU was the first medical school in the Kansas City area to host an annual White Coating Ceremony for the entering class. The White Coating Ceremony is a touching and significant event, symbolizing the beginning of your career as an osteopathic medical student. The white coating ceremony concludes a week of orientation activities and begins a student's journey into medical school. More about the 2021 White Coating Ceremony.

Dress is formal (dark pants/suit or a dark dress) and black dress shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes). Men please wear a white shirt and tie.
