Monday, April 5, 2021 #KCUDayOfGiving
Alumni, faculty, staff and other friends of Kansas City University: Thank you. Because of your generous support for Day of Giving 2021, we raised over $100,000. Your generosity made it all possible.
Thanks to you, we surpassed two goals. The day started with an original goal of $30,000, which was surpassed by the early afternoon. You rose to the challenge of then passing the stretch goal of $75,000 by 11:59 p.m. Central time April 5.
As of end of day April 5, over $86,000 was raised, with gifts still being counted. Just over a week later, by April 13, we have reached $100,000!
A very special thank-you to our donors who posed challenges and matches throughout the day to encourage gifts: the KCU Alumni Association; Helix Architecture + Design; Dr. Ed O’Connor, KCU’s Provost and Vice President for Academic and Research Affairs; Dr. Laura Rosch, Campus Dean – Joplin; and Dr. Jane Lampo, KCU’s Vice President for Philanthropy and Alumni Relations.
Thank you for coming together to meet this moment with compassion, resilience and pride in our community.
While the 2021 Day of Giving has concluded, your donations are appreciated all year long. Please consider a gift in support of KCU’s mission of “improving the well-being of the communities we serve.”
Thank you for your help in making KCU’s second Day of Giving a success! Please stay tuned for 2022 Day of Giving save-the-date announcements later this year.
