Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King dedicated his life to the nonviolent struggle for civil rights and social justice, and in 1964 won the Nobel Prize for his work to end racial segregation and create federal law to prohibit racial discrimination in the U.S.
King's philosophy of servant leadership and his belief in equity and inclusion is reflected in KCU's mission: To improve the well-being of the communities we serve.
